Teaser Tuesday (Sept 18 )

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.  http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My current read is: ‘Live Bait’ by P.J. Tracy…  Page 12   http://www.amazon.co.uk/Live-Bait-P-J-Tracy/dp/0141011335/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347952983&sr=8-1

My two teasers are:

“Marty Pullman  was sitting on the closed toilet seat lid in his downstairs bathroom, staring down the muzzle of a .357 Magnum.”

“Marty froze , his  thumb quivering on the trigger.”

    Wow, great suspense! Great teasers!

Here’s ours for this week, a YA read and a non-fiction about Tony Danza’s teaching experience: http://www.ourstack.blogspot.com/2012/09/tuesday-teasers-nonf-fiction-and-ya.html

I want to say this is a nice teaser, but the image is a little too disturbing to be “nice”! Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog. 🙂 My TT was from The Magicians.

  4. Things don’t sound good! Thanks for stopping by.
